Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is completely different from much of the activity of contemporary yoga. Restorative yoga is about slowing down mind and opening body through the act of passive stretching. The passive stretches are long holds through which your muscles relax on a deep level because your body is being supported with props. This form of yoga is very mellow , involves very little movement, and involves just a few postures in the course of the hour.
